my new african butterfly fish that i just got yesterday is taking air from the surface and then spitting out a bubble. the ph is optimum and the nitrates are below thirty ppm and there are no traces of nitrites or nitrates. it looks like he is attacking food but he will swim a few inches then attack the surface and repeat. any ideas whats wrong
there big bubbles that pop a few seconds after he burps it up
no meds all my fish are healthy i did put some aquarium salt in last night when i put him in to help relieve his stress he just started doing it today though
