My fish is swimming upright! Help!?

My saltwater fish (a clownfish) is swimming vertically lately. He is still very active, bright eyed, eating normally...it doesnt look like he is struggling to swim, its just his body is tilted up instead of sideways like a normal fish.
He's about 7 years old and has never had a problem...anyone have any ideas?
 
Worst case scenario is that your fish may be dying.
I've never had a clown fish though, so I don't know how they normally behave..
But before my fish died, he started tilting upwards as he swam.

I hope that isn't the case with yours!!
