I have been treating my Red Comet with white spot meds and salt twice a day every day for a week and although it has not infected my other fish it is not lessening on the infected fish, i know only the free swimming stage can be treated but surely the infection should have gone down by now? i only have one heater and one filter and so i dont want to quarantine my fish, am i right to be worried by the fact that the spots havent reduced or am i being impatient? My tank is at 26 degrees C.
No i havent because i read that changing the enviroment like the water stresses the fish and makes them more likely to get sick and i dont want to make him worse.
