I have two small fish in a spacious tank (a white/gold and a multi colored). After one month the multi was always chasing the white one so i thought they were either playing or the white one was being bullied. A while later this stopped and they both seemed fine together again. A few days ago my daughter noticed the multi looking much smaller than usual and what the problem was it was missing the ends of its tail. The white one still seems fine,still brightly colored,feeding well swimming fine but the multi seems troubled,losing its colour(a bit shiny),not eating and is always at the bottom of the tank in the corner.Could any one tell me what could be the problem. I have recently cleaned the tank and filter exactly the way the instructions told me so i don't think its a water problem. Please help as i don't want the children thinking ive killed the fish within two months!!!!!!
