She still looks fat so could she have more babies later and about how long should i wait before putting her back in my normal tank. She is a black molly and just had 13 babies that died i pretty sure they were still born so im guessing she got stressed out for some unknown reason and had some of her babies. She wont have many more if she does she wasent tht fat to begin with but still looks rather big than before she had them. So is it common for mollies to have babies at separate times like after a few days because she had them yesterday afternoon while i was at school.
she is NOT in a breeder net she is in her own individual 2g tank

hi i had that happen too.after her first brood it will take about 26 to 30 days before she has more. so if you need me give me an e-mail.

my mollie had some on saturday afternoon and some on sunday and she is still big and fat looks like shes going to explode..

someone told me it can take several day depending on how healthy and stressed the fish is after having some

The babies were probably stillborn because you put her in the breeder net. Breeder nets are death traps for fry and mothers. They will stress the mother out enough to cause stillbirths, and won't provide adequate growing space for fry. Take her out right now, since she is already having a stillbirth. The rest of your fish will eat the dead babies. And yes, it is common for fish to have babies at different times. For example, my guppy had a baby two nights ago, and the next night, I found two more. It normally happens when your fish are stressed out.
Next time your female gives birth, you can put a whole bunch of floating plants in your tank, so the babies can hide there when they're born, or you can put your female in her own separate 10 gallon tank a couple weeks before she gives birth.

Hope this helps!
Good luck!

EDIT: Okay, good. Still, a 2 gallon can still cause stillbirths in a female. It's fine for fry though. =)
Cheers!
