My fish died and the tank I used had multiple fish in it?

What do I do? Do I clean the tank? How do I clean the tank?
It died from fin rot. But the fin was spliting.
 
I always use vinegar for the final rinse cleaning my tanks then rinse again and dry thoroughly
 
What did the fish die from?

The only reason you would really need to clean it out, would be if the fish died from fish TB. Otherwise, just let it be. Even when one of my tanks contracted one of the nastiest columnaris infections out there, I still didn't clean the tank. Just let it run it's course.
