my fish bit me..., why?

when i was putting some live plants into one of my outside ponds, my snakehead bit me. why? did it think i was its food? i know they are aggresive, but still... i didnt think itd attack something bigger than it. i might just add few pirhannas in.
 
You may have invaded his personal territory, a section it feels overly protective of. They generally won't go after something larger than them for food, but they will defend themselves. Snake heads are particularly nasty little fighters, and will do what it takes to feel safe.

Well, it probably felt insecure. Fish arent really good pets. They can also die if you change thier water temp like if you were to clean it!So watch out cause all my fishes died after i cleaned there tank!
