I'm 14, a real big guy, 6ft tall and 200 lbs, so no little kid bikes for me. I was thinking a Yamaha, Honda? So, If I go for the lower end beginner bikes, new and used, how much should I be willing to pay? I'll bring it up to my friends campground, which has trails. And I will be riding it around our neighborhood. Please do not educate me on it not being street legal, I realize that, I won't ride it around my neighborhood much. So, is a 70cc enough for that? How fast will that go? I need all the help I can get on my first dirk bike!!! Thanks so much!

go with a Honda they are very sturdy and won't break and overall they are one of the top dirk-bike manufacturers

Honda XR250R would be a great beginner bike for your size. You could also get the 250L (street legal).

Yamaha also makes comparable used sizes (TTR models). Then there is the Kawasaki KLX, and Suzuki DR.

New would be the Honda CRF250X, or the CRF230F (the X is more of a race bike). The other metric bikes (yamaha/kawasaki/suzuki) make bikes in the same class.

All bikes listed are 4-stroke.

Used costs could be from $1500-4000 depending on year, model, engine size, and condition. New prices can be found on any manufacturer website.

My dirt bike is a Kawasaki KLX-140cc four stroke. these bikes have a larger version of them just for riders like you. Its called the KLX-140L. It has a sweet suspension, and a moderate price. It also has a push starter, so you don't have to break a sweat to get the bike to start on a cold day. I highly recommend it.
