my fire fish rarely comes out, Why?

I just got a new fire fish for my SW tank and he rarely comes out. (hes been in the tank for 24hrs) And what i mean by doesnt come out i mean that he hides in the rocks and i rarely see him. What do you think?
 
Some fish take weeks to get comfortable! Just give him time. i bet when the lights are off he comes out! Do some research on bhim to mae sure it's habits ad such. some fish do hide all the time, regardless.
 
since you just got him he probaly needs to get used to the tank. Give him more time. Maybe you should get another fish and see his reaction.
