My fighting fish's fins seem have stopped from rotting. Does it mean I have treated it?

Well the other day I got another betta. He's steel blue/violet. Is it a nice color?

Then last night, I just saw that it seems to be starting to rot.

What I did was, I dropped methylene blue then put some rock salt. Now, I changed his water and did the same medication. It seems to have stopped from rotting. Did it really stop or does it mean I treated it already?

Don't assume its treated until the fin has completely healed. Follow the course recommended on the bottle but make sure the tank is clean from then on. With a watchful eye it should heal but never assume anything.

Don't free your self keep a close look on it for a couple of days.It might mean that you treated it but it might not.As i see you have cached the infection quickly which is a good thing .Keep the water as it is change 15% of the water after 3 days and everything will be back to normal. An the color of your fish is awesome.I hope i helped good luck

You could have caught the infection early enough with the methylene blue to catch it. Just keep a very close eye on it and continue with regular partial water changes. The salt won't do a whole lot for the fish, but the meds do the trick on this bacterial infection, I would follow the course stated on the bottle (if there is one) to be sure you're rid of it.

edit: Do you think it's a nice colour? Colour is a matter of opinion. It sounds nice enough. My some of my favourite Bettas were silver (copper mask) and the another was purple and white.
