my fighting fish ?? ...?

i just got a fighting fish lastnight and forget to get it fish food and wont b able to get any till i go to town next and i dont kno wen that will be .. what do they eat? and what can i feed it till i get the food?

Well the yolk of a boiled egg has sufficient levels of emergency protein for your little guy, but it's a bit messy and is usually reserved for fry. It might work in a pinch but the best option is to get him the proper food asap.
He'll be fine for a couple days, in fact a regular day of fasting can be beneficial to their digestive health, but I wouldn't push it.
You can also try small insects, like gnats or fruit flys, but you have to be very careful as any contaminates (fertilizer, wastes, poisons, ect) will be transferred to your little guy and his water.
