him, but is it 2 much stress? My finacee has had the whole drama of his ex wife taking 70 percent of his everything, and will not allow this to happen again.
So he wants me to sign a pre nup before we get married, stated complete financial separation.
He will pay his morgage, the bills and help out with groceries..( so he says) I will have my money, whatever that may be to live on and support my kids.
If we have a child together we will go halfs in it all.
Noting that if we break up, I leave with only what I buy with my own money and what I brought there in the first place.
I am currently working but still get some centerlink benefits, eg a health care card.
I would say I would loose that once we are married, but he seems under the impression that if we are financially separate that I would still keep the health care card.
I dont think centerlink would see it this way.
So confusing for me, this is.
He also has 3 kids, and has to pay maintenance etc.
He does say that perphaps later we could buy a property together and it would be 2 separated morgtages, he pay his half and I pay mine.
What happens when I retire etc,
Its just alot to take in.
I understand his side of it, and ofcourse I am concerned about my side of it.
Doesnt sound very love like, it sounds more like a buisness arrangement.
I am hoping someone will be able to help me in this.
Thankyou in advance.
