my fiance is in the army reserves?

my fiance is in the army reserves and is going to his ect this year in california and he has recently been started tested for high blood sugar and high blood sugar what is the actions he should take by informing anyone out there in california. Last year when he went to ect he passed out form heat problems along with high blood sugar i am extremly concered that he is going to pass out again what should he say
