Basically she accidentally hit a car and the person has a quote for £112 worth of damage. Would it be best to settle this without involving the insurance companies? If so, is there anything we need to get from the driver she hit? e.g receipt of payment.
Or would it be best to go through the insurance companies? Would they charge her the excess?
