My Favs Gone After Upgrading to 4.5 OS

So, early today I took the plunge and updated my 8100 to thr 4.5 OS. Now I don't have an Icon for MY Faves. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a reason and a fix?
 
Go to T-Mobile's website and re-send service books. You should get activation emails to your email accounts, you may still have to take out the battery for 10 seconds and reboot. Let us know if that works!
 
This has been addressed before on several other threads. MyFavs does NOT work in 4.5, it is a T-Mo specific app and will not work in 4.5 until T-Mo makes their official release of the software to make it compatible with 4.5. Re-sending the service books will do nothing, yea, you will get the confirm messages, but it does nothing for the app.

The myFav #'s are stored with T-Mo anyway and not on your phone, so you can still call the #'s from your myFavs and it not charge you. So just be patient for T-Mo's release for the myFavs.
 
No problems here.

I don't know how, but I've upgraded my 8120 to 4.5.0.52, and my 8100 to 4.5.0.55, and the myfaves icon are still on both phones.
 
I can get mine to load sometimes, but usually only 1 or 2, and after trying to refresh to get the rest, they all just goto Loading. When I asked a friend of mine at TMo, what I posted above was the answer. I have tried on .10, .18, .37, .42, .46, and .52 and have always gotten the same results, only 1 or 2 icons. And you can still call the other people that are on your myfavs even without their icon being accessible, the myfav app thing is just a convienece, I just use the hotkeys anyway, just as fast if not faster imo. But I am glad to see some people are able to get it to work, grats.
 
I too have the my faves icon on my 8100 using 4.5!! But I do have that one contact that doesn't allow me to change the picture. But other than that, its fine!~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
 
After updating to .55 beta, the myfavs are working perfect on my phone now, but with .52 they did not, maybe it is a sign that TMo is pending their release soon, because from what I had gathered from users here, until recently no one has been able to get their myfavs to work on the 4.5 betas.
 
Am I the only one that actually despises the MyFaves app? Im not trying to be negative nancy so sorry but wow I hate that annoying thing! Thats what the online MyFaves stuff is for..heh. I wish I knew how to remove it from my phone completely..
