My father is a retiree of the army as of april 2009, he wants to transfer his GI bill...

...benifits to me.(school)? i am aware that there are new GI bill circumstances that take effect in august. Will he still be able to transfer the benefits to me even though he retired before august of 2009?
i have one more year of high school... so when i go off to college...will my dad be able to pass them onto me?
 
thats a great point but you should talk with her. and then she'll understand. i know you say you hate her now but you'll notice that life without her isnt a life worth living, you have 3 kids together, and need her each and every day.. besides mistakes happen, and most people dont have that good of a relationship with they inlaws!! am i right.. take care now
 
The new GI bill does take effect soon, but in order to be elligible for that, he has to be serving when he signs the benefits over to you.
