My father doesn't want me to be a Lawyer? What to do?

I HATE ENGINEERING. I like Law VERY much! My father says that there are not enough jobs (I'm NOT in US, CANADA, or UK). But don't you think that on one hand I HATE engineering and I am likely to fail and get a low job, rather than Law profession, which I love. How can I pursue my dad?
