my eyes no longer move to the side since an attack where they rolled on thier own

could this be ms? the er was not sure if stroke or ms was to blame but one day i felt sick and my eyes began to roll on own they locked up so i cannot turn them to left or right i left not knowing what to do can someone help its happening alot now
