You should look that up. Sounds like a jealous ex. Why would child abuse be protected before marriage but not after? sounds fishy. But please dont get involved with someone who is going to abuse your little ones.
 
He is just trying to control you. There is no such law. Unless he happens to be a sex offender he can live with you. If he is a sex offender I doubt you would want to have a relationship with him anyway.
 
Yes your boyfriend can live with you as long as he doesn't have any record of child abuse or child neglect. Please make sure you have known him for awhile before you allow him to move in.

If its in your divorce decree then he's right. Your decree should cover this.
My husband's says "Each parent agrees not to have an overnight guest of the opposite sex in the presence of the minor children."

Legal ways to get around this:
1. If you two aren't ready to get married, have him sign a lease agreement and call him your "roomate".

2. Get married.
