my ex is in contempt of court more than 6 times for not letting me see my kids

on my custody days? how do i get an emergency court date without a lawyer?
 
Why haven't you reported her/him? Keep a copy of your court ordered visitation with you when you go to pick the kids up and she/he doesn't let you take them call the cops and when they get there show them the agreement .They will have to let the kids go or go to jail ..I know my brother has done it twice to his ex.
 
Contact the family court services and ask them for assistance. They should be able to direct you in the appropriate course of action. Otherwise, there are usually (in CA anyways) a variety of online forms you can file (along with instructions) to deal with your situation. For contempt (visitation interference) they would typically set a court date within 30 days. You go. You fight. You win or lose. You curse the system. At least, that's what I do.
