...take to stop her? my ex and i haven't gotten along since he remarried after 7 months. his new wife has been horrible to my children and has successfully caused my ex to disown our oldest child, who was 17 at the time. on saturday, i took my youngest to his house to get some clothing when she came to my car, stuck her head in my window and started telling me how horrible i am and how wonderful she is because she has money. she was very confrontational, and i have never been one to take that sort of behavior, especially where my children are concerned.
it got very much out of control and she threatened me and was trying to provoke a physical altercation. i have NEVER been that angry without it going further, but i was at her house and my children were there. i did not start this. never said a word to her. she walked out of her house and started cursing me.
i worry that my ex will make my coming to his house to pick up my kids more difficult because of this, even though it was unprovoked by me. (he never said a word. just stood there listening, which i find interesting.)
what should i do? send a letter to her and cc: his and my attorneys for the file?
