If you need help, go to the department of human services and apply for assistance.... you are probably eligible for medical, food and maybe some cash until you can find a job.

even after you are back to work, if your income meets eligibility requirements, you might be able to get assistance with food, medical for the kids and even daycare.

i'm sorry the ex is such a downer.

Well it really would not be a an emergency now .You should have done it a year ago.Now that you are out of work you want to call it an emergency .You need to apply for welfare, along with child support.
