One of my "closest" friends, who I also work with and have to see for at least eight hours a day, five days a week, is currently hooking up with my ex. Him and I only dated for a couple of weeks before I realized he was very possessive and clingy which caused me to break it off with him. I don't have any feelings for him and it honestly wouldn't have bothered me if SHE had mentioned to me that she had an interest in him but he was the one who told me that they had plans to spend all weekend together.
They had only met once prior to this weekend AND I only broke things off with him a WEEK AGO TODAY.
The last two days at work we have barley spoken two words to each other, she knows he told me and its obvious she is avoiding me and according to her Facebook someone is "talking s**t" about her which I can only assume is me and its obviously not true, I'm sure my ex-whatever-he-is has said things to her....Sometimes I feel like I am in middle school again.
Now just for a little background history...In the past she has bugged out on me for simply replying to an text her "finance" (at the time) had sent me, telling me to keep her "finance'" out of things; After they broke up and she found out I was casually dating her exes best friend she went off on me about how much it hurt that I would stab her in the back and spend time with people who think so little of her. When it comes to this "best friend" of mine its obvious she is addicted to drama.
Do I confront her about the fact I feel completely disrespected and hurt by the fact that she obviously didn't take my feelings into consideration or do I just let it go?
