We all make mistakes and sometimes we are lucky enough to be able to rectify them. abortion is about personal choice, it is a very personal thing and not a decision that is taken lightly by any woman. there are a multitude of reasons for a woman to have an abortion and each one is valid in the individuals eyes.
I am strongly pro-choice, BUT! I believe the time limit should be lowered. unless there are the most extreme of mitigating circumstances, an abortion at 24 weeks (the current threshhold in the uk) is very disturbing. traditionally this threshold has been the time where a feotus is considered viable outside of the womb (will survive if born premature), but I think it needs to be reevaluated.
I personally have less respect for people that go having babies that they are not in a suitable situation to have, than a woman who has an abortion. It is not selfish to recognise when you are incapable of doing your best for a baby, it is selfish to have kids here there and everywhere and damn the consequences.
I do not intend to cause offence, but I am sure that everyone at sometime or other has looked at someone with children and just thought "why?!?"
