My DS Lite shows a blank screen when i start GBA game(Pokemon leaf green)?

My ds lite shows a blank screen after the game boy logo when i start the GBA game which is pokemon leaf green. sometimes it doesn't even read the game when it is in. i tried blowing out dust in the DS slot and the game many times but all failed. Last time it worked was a week ago.

NOTE :: The GBA game that doesn't start is quite old, about 2 years. And i do not own another gba game so i cannot test to see if it's the game or the ds slot

Its broke then theres nothing you can do about it.

unfortunately it looks like something is harshly damaged just cross your fingers that is is your game and not your ds...
