do another, is this normal? I have type 2 diabetes. I had what I thought was the flu 2 months ago and the cough never went away. Still have fever off & on and have been on antibiotics for 3 wks. I have night sweats and chest pain. Why do their opinions differ and why wait 2 wks. for another test. I have children and grandchildren that are now worried and don't want to come around.
 
I doubt they will do another PPD. It is procedure to do a chest xray after a positive ppd. If the doctor suspected that you have Tb he would also have done a sputum test.
