my dog's like to eat dry cat food should we still allow them to eat it or what ?

they love the cat food the dry stuff they eat we also feed them meet and chicken also
they havent ate it in 1 week my dad has been feeding them meet and chicken last night he brought for the stray cats out side he put them some so my dogs wanted to eat they ate last night and this morning
 
it makes them fat and isnt good for them to eat on a full term but if they get into it every once in a while it's okay
 
Nutritionally it is not good for dogs to eat cat food. If they get into it you need to let them know it is wrong and teach them not to do it again.
 
A dog will eat just about anything, if you let them. Although, the cat food, won't KILL the dogs, they really shouldn't eat it. The ingredients are different in dog and cat foods, making it easier for their digestive tracts. Stick with the DOG FOOD!
