My dog just had to be put down. I've had her ever since i was one year old.
She was basically same age as me, and thats what caused her time. Her body just gave out on her. She was having severe trouble breathing and all her organs were failing her. Just got back from the vet about half hour ago, which was the last time i saw her. I dont see what its going to be like now, shes the only pet i've had ALL of my life, and now shes just gone. Nothings going to be the same. I loved this dog more than anything in my life. I can't see what i'm typing properly.

It's killed me.
 
i had 2 rabits who both died at the same time it was tragic! And my grampa died and i thought it was my grandma who died so for not knowing for a week that my grampa died i thought it was my grandma. but it finaly clicked in and me and my dad literaly cried for a week! even though i am a guy i still have feelings for my grandpa.
 
I am so sorry for your loss. The loss of such pure loving friends is one of the tortures I cannot stomach about this reality. I am just so sorry for you. Good luck.
 
I have a dog who is also about as old as i am. His health is failing, so i sorta understand what your going through. Though i have had a few other pets die on me, to lose Rufus would be horrible.

I'm sorry your lost of such a friend for all your life, I remember when my cat died, who i've had since I was 5, and my dad cried :confuse: It was tragic.

From one dog lover to another, I offer my deepest and most sincere condolences. As the longer lived race, we bear the pain of outliving our kanine friends. As hard as it is on you remember 2 things:
1. Your dog's suffering is over and she's gone to a better place.
2. She'd want you to get another dog.
