Hi recently my aunt has had some mental stability problems and we took one of her five dogs off her hands for a while so that she can try to relax a little more. It was good for the dog because I think it was being deprived of attention with four other dogs around. My aunt and cousins are a little strange and my cousins are totally spoiled brats and not being very nice to their mom, witch is not helping her out. We just took the dog off her hands a few days ago and I don't think it has adjusted to the new surroundings yet and when I try to go to bed I will put him in his crate and he will whine and then start to bark eventually. I have tried taking him out of his crate but then he just wonders around my room winning even more. I have put him in my dining room in another crate and after about half an hour of whining and barking he will quiet down and then he will start back up again unpredictably for no reasons. I was wondering what I could do to make him stop whining all together and have him sleeping in my room quietly for once. Thanks for reading and please answer!!!!!
Ok I take him out right before I go to bed and I'm really wanting to bond with this dog as much as possible. I will take him on long walks to to help tire him. Thanks for the help guys.
