i think my english bull terrier is pregnant. 16 days into her season she got out of the garden and was found stuck with a staffordshire bull terrier for about 10 minutes. this was nearly four weeks ago now. Since then however she has developed quite a lot of breast tissue and her nipples have become rather large. She has also become very protective over food as we also have a labrador pup, she doesnt hurt him but she is snappy with him if he approaches her whilst she is eating. she also guards the dog food. i have also noticed she has become really affectionate towards me. is this normal for a pregnant ... or could she be having a phantom! please help
i have her booked into the vets for an ultrasound scan on the 12th april, she will then be 5 weeks and 2 days if she is pregnant. It is going cost me £50 to have this done but i dont want to waste my money and the vet tell me its just a phantom!
