Hahaha...she want attention!!! Is she spoiled? My puppy is spoiled, and she will do the same. She actually just had a little tantrum because neither I nor my roommate wanted to play fetch. Also, if she knows that I hid a treat or her ball somewhere, she will go to that spot and whine.
I have learned that if I exercise her really well--take her for a looooooooong, high-energy walk/run or take her to the park for walk and fetch, she gets it out of her system and is a lot calmer.
I usually do that, but today, my back was hurting so bad (I fell off of a horse a few weeks ago and injured it), I could play outside...hence, whining, spoiled-brat puppy. : )
If it's not late where you are, take her outside for a long, fast walk, play with her toys inside, etc. Then, give her a bone to occupy her. She'll stop bugging you.
