purebreeds are too $$ for me now.
The pound just said "toy poodle mix", but he is bigger than a toy poodle. He's about 4 yrs old based on his teeth, but we were able to remove all the tarter. He weighs 13-14 pounds. He has one ear that sticks up. He has soft curly hair with some stiffer, wire-type hair on his bottom. A stranger once suggested a schnauzer mix.

We've had him since December. He's a fantastic jumper, very quiet (except for howling when we get home from somewhere), kind of clingy, easy to train, and he "points" quite a bit.
Since reading stuff on Answers, I fear people probably see me with him and think I bought a designer dog from a puppymill, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's were he originally came from. I suppose he could have just been a happy accident. He's healthy and happy; I don't know why he was in the pound.
I'd like to know the mix for health reasons.
