My dog has never been bothered by storms- what's different now?

I've got a 5 year old female Weimaraner.

She's never been bothered by storms- never really seemed to be affected. This past week, we've been having tons of thunderstorms, tornado watches, etc. Now, my dog is following me around everywhere once the thunder starts, and she's sitting by me shaking slightly. Last night, she didn't even want to eat...

Can anyone offer any insight?
