I was at the park with my dog and he was off the leash ( in know he shouldn't be) but people do it all the time. well i was playing soccer when this couple came and started having a picnic near there car... and my dog approached them... i didn't realize that they were annoyed until i looked over and saw the man throw a chicken bone at my dog. i tried to stop my dog from eating it but he just chewed it up...i told the man that dogs cant eat them and that he could eat really sick. i also told them that there are picnic tables here. he just screamed at me rudely and told me to f**** off, not im only 14... im worried what should i do? my dogs a medium Maltese x shih-tzu what signs should i look for, should i take him to the vet?
@bearsmom... they were basically sitting in the parking lot! and at my park theres a big field and theres a place for people to relax...P.S they ended up going to the picnic tables that were about 20 meters away!
