My display image of Yahoo messenger doesn't want to display. Why?

I use YM on Macbook Pro (latest vers.). I used it for a while now and it was fine, but about 2 days ago, my display image doesn't want to display and I can't view my friends' display pictures as well. Is there anything wrong with my YM? Do I have to download a new one? How can i display it back? Help...
