My dining room is bigger than my living room. I was thinking of switching rooms,?

However, if I switch the rooms when you walk into my house you would walk into the dining room when you enter the house. That seems kind of weird to me. What do you think?
It's a really small colonial style house where the living area and dining area are separated by an opening so it's almost like one room. so if you think of a sort of T shape the living room is on the left, dining room on the right and the kitchen is on the right side top of the T.

I had this really cool apartment where you walked into the dining room & the living room was beyond it. The kitchen was to the right of the dining room. It totally made sense cause it was close to the kitchen & the living room was quieter cause it was away from the common hallway. I don't think it's weird design-wise, but will it FUNCTION well??? I other words, will the kitchen be too far removed from the kitchen??? I personally don't like homes where you walk right into the living room - you want to be LED into the living area via hallway, entry, etc. So as long as it functions as well, I say DO IT!!!
