Im not a mommy but I do want to be one.

Im 21 years old, and my husband is 22. I recently have entertained the idea to join the United States Coast Guard because I think I really really love to do that! But I also have a dream of being a SAHM as well. Now my dilemma is this... I want to have my kids young.. I want 4 kids before 30, And my fear is that once I join the military its either 1.) I have a baby.. I will have to go back after 6 months..
2.)just drop out
3.) wait 4 or so years to start TTC
and I dont want to do any of these!!
So now I'm having second thoughts about "signing my life away".

The Coast Guard IS something I really wanted to do but being a mother is so much more important to me

dont get me wrong I know the military has so many benefits...but right now in my mind the risks are outweighing the benefits.

My husband has a steady full time job, Im not working but doing online courses (graduate in 2010) and we have our own home and two cars. Not to mention hubby wants a baby too!!

I know you might say we seem really young..which we are. But we are both very mature and responsible. I just turned 21 and i already got clubbed out at 20...

So if you guys have any advice that would be wonderful!! please dont bash me Im just really looking for some support

you should chose mommy because u might not get that chance ever again if something happens in the coast guard job!
