My daschund has never walked on a leash. Since she was a puppy, every time I've tried to get her to walk on the lead, she sits down and pulls back if you try to give the lead a tug. She would sooner have me drag her across the ground than actually take a single step while wearing a leash. She walks by my side on command in our yard but I really need to have her on a leash if I want to walk her outside of the yard. She's currently 2 years old.
