My Danny Dyer Phase - I'm worried

Until recently I've regarded him is an irksome, crude little man, who makes revolting films
Having watched Severence, Football Factory and Outlaw in the past few weeks much too my surprise I found them satisfyingly good despite their unpleasant themes.
Nick Love in the DVD extras ,comes across as even more obnoxious than Dyer , but he too is interesting in an odd way- and this worries me.
Anymore Dyer gems I should watch out for?
 
You have to credit their persistence for finding scenarios where the same one dimensional mockney rogue character sticks out like a sore thumb.

Admittedly I only watched it for Gillian Anderson and I wasn't really paying attention to the plot.:D Shame it wasn't made about ten years earlier... :o
 
That film is terrible, watched it on cable for 99p on demand and want my money back !. No character backstory, or much of a plot and gratuitous violence.
 
I quite like abit of Danny Dyer, 'Is Harry On The Boat' was the film that got me interested, though that can be difficult to get hold of. However, in my opinion dont bother with 'The Great Ecstasy Of Robert Carmichael', awful film with an unnecessary ending.
 
I liked Goodbye Charlie Bright as well, he plays the same character essentially in all the films he's in, but I enjoy them. As for the Mockney comment, someone should check where he was born.
 
His persona can really add to the films sometimes.

I think Severance and Human Traffic are his best films.

I haven't enjoyed the films he's made with Nick Love, but I have a thing where I dislike films about gangsters, hooligans and violence etc. Bizarrely I'm okay with something like Severance though.
 
I know he's a bit of a tool, but he's so sexy. I've heard some seedy, seedy stories about him from a couple of my frienRAB :D

Human Traffic, Football Factory, The Business and Goodbye Charlie Bright are my favourites.
 
Severance is about the only film I like of his.

I quite liked the football factories program, especially when he was off in South America shitting his pants all the time :D
