I met my dad's boss' wife today and she likes me quite a bit. She gave my dad permission to use their materials freely if he ever makes something for me.
Now I am someone who LOVES neat little things like tea cups, rings and carved soaps, and I was SO thrilled about this! But even though my dad's company do make custom metal works, his fingers are too large to make detailed things like those, instead his job is to make large scaled things such as custom window frames, door frames and fences. Obviously I have no use fo any of that
He is currently working on a victorian-styled coat rack for me, but that was about all I could come up with. Now I know I shouldn't abuse this right, though its tempting, I wouldn't wanna ruin any relationships at his work.
But does anyone have any future ideas? What should be something big, metal-ie, and nice to have for free?(once a while, of course!)
