my dad gave me a joke name. Do you think it's as stupid as I do?

My surname is shout. Firstly, everyone makes the same stupid joke and starts talking very loudly, which I find annoying. But on top of this my father thought it would be amusing to call me Tristan.
So every time I have to say my full name, someone will make some dumb comment. But what gets me the most is Dad still giggles when he hears my name and mutters to himself "tristen shout... he he well shake it up baby,,,, etc etc" I can't stand it anymore and I am going to change my name. What should I call myself now?

You're looking at it negetively, thats an awesome name! Also, the quicker you get over it, the quicker your dad will.
 
i would kill to have a name like that.

its a great convo starter when ur introducing urself. esp to girls. use it!
 
Many people change their name. You should think about someone you admire or who represents the best part of you. You may wish to take words from other languages. Research your ancestry and take the name of an ancestor.
