Thanks for answering. I'm definitely going to try it, next time I go to walmart I'll pick up a bottle since it's cheaper there. I'll make sure to post my results when I start to see them! Thanks for sharing your cure.

Hi BeautifulSkin28, I'm not God'sGirl, but I thought I'd answer your questions too as it's been working so well for me. It's the darker pink solid bottle, the one with vitamin e and jojoba. Both those things are apparently good for the skin, so maybe that's what's doing it? I just massage it into my wet skin for about 30 seconRAB then rinse well. Then I apply benzoyl peroxide to problem areas (I have ben doing this for years and it never made me completely clear, though it's probably helping). Then I apply an oil free moisturiser to my eye area only, when i apply it to my face I break out. I never do facials, they make me break out. I'm also on the pill (have been for 11 years), and it's probably helping too, but never made me completely clear. I've been on a vegan diet for one month now, which also may help, but my skin has been great for over six weeks now, so it's not that either. I've also started using mineral foundation. I think it's a corabo of all the above, but washing my face with conditioner was definitely the straw that broke the acnes back!
Kendra, yeah, I don't like the chemicals and fragrances in the conditioner (also, it's not vegan), so I'm going to try to find an alternative. I think it's the vitamin e, jojoba, and gentle cleansing that does it, not necessarily herbal essences. At any rate, it's definitely not making me break out anywhere.

Well, I've posted this before, but I just wanted to stay that the cure I found for my acne is continuing to work. And wonderfully.

I wash my face twice a day with Herbal Essences conditioner. It may sound weird, but, it really has cured my acne.

And, it's funny, last time I posted this, most people didn't believe me. But, that's your loss, not mine. I just want to tell people what I have found that helps me, because that's what this board is for. So, there you go.

I recently sent an email to them also, and they are having their research scientists, quality control specialists, the brand managers, and the consumer representatives all over it. They are very excited to hear of this development. So, yeah. I just wanted to let you all know that.

Herbal Essences conditioner? What made you decide to try this on your face? That's interesting. So is it just the plain kind because there's so many new kinRAB now, and what color is the bottle? I might actually try this. Did you experience any side-effects in the beginning?

I've never heard of this before.

This cure sounRAB almost too good to be true. I am definitely gonna try it. Thank you so much for posting your information online. I absolutely hate it when people advertise their amazing cures and then charge 30 bucks for it. If any body has ever had acne, they know how frustrating it is. Why would they tease someone like that. I hate it! But thank you for sharing your simple secret. I am really excited to try it and I am going out to buy it tonight. Please keep us posted about your frienRAB and yourself.

Well, the reason I tried it on my face is because I was used it on my legs one time to shave them because I didn't have anything else to use. It made my legs soft and smoother than normal. So I kept doing it. Then I was like Hmm, would this make my face soft and smooth too? And it did. AND the next thing you know my acne was gone. It was weird, so I experimented with it. When I didn't use it, I broke out again. Now I use it everyday!

I just use the regular conditioner. The bottle is light pinkish.

And no, no negative side effects for me. I guess just to make sure you could rub some on a sensitive part of your skin for a few days and make sure nothing happens, but, nothing bad happened to me!

Let me know how it goes!

Oh yes, the the herbal essences people had never heard of this before either. I mean, I don't know of anybody who did it before me . . . It was very random of me. *shrugs* But, it turned out to be one of the BEST random things I'd ever done!

Okay, back to my main subject . . .

I experimented a little bit for you guys. I have a feeling all their conditioners would work the same way, but I tried the kind for permed/colored/dry/damaged hair in the darker pink bottle and it worked the same way. So, for those of you who can't find the regular stuff anymore, that one works just as well.

Here is an update on the friend that started using the conditioner: His face is almost completely cleared up. And I got a huge hug from him for it. lol.

Awakening -- yes, in the solid pink bottle. And my acne was not as bad as some, but defintely not good. I was broken out on my upper lip and forehead the all the time and then other places a lot of the time too.

Oh yes, and, I will mention this, EVERY NOW AND THEN, if I get MAJORLY stressed out (I'm in my first year of college and finals kill) I will get a few pimples here or there, but they are always very very small and go away very very quickly. So, they don't even bother me at all.

Saphire82 -- No, I don't use anything else. And, only 2 other people have actually tried my "cure" that I actually know in person. Everyone else just laughs in my face or gives me a weird look. (I know they secretly wonder though. Self-esteem drops majorly when you don't feel like you look good and when I had horrible acne, I would have done anything to make it go away . . .) One person was my mom, and, she didn't have very many break outs at all, but she hasn't had ANY since she started. It also makes her face very smooth. The other one is this guy friend named Sal. He just started two days ago, so I'll let you all know how that goes.

And, make sure anyone who tries it keeps me updated! I want to see the happiness in others from using my cure!

I really don't see why people act like this is so strange...people try everything on their faces...aspirin, milk of magnesia, clay, egg whites etc...you name it, I think people with acne have tried it. Anyone that uses Cetaphil cleanser should appreciate this...I mean Cetaphil feels about like using conditioner to cleanse. I mean really, how could it hurt? AND C.H.E. is the best darn hair conditioner I have ever used! We use it all over our heaRAB anyway so what could it hurt to try it. I would surely have to be safer than taking all the drugs for acnes that everyone takes these days! BTW, CHE is one of the few conditioners that doesn't cause be to get sores on my scalp!

Well you know what they say, you'll never know until you try. Even if it's something crazy. You just got to find the people who will do it first, like you lol:) I'm willing to try pretty much anything that's new. I love that about me, just try it because it could be the best thing you ever did.

So it's just the plain bottle then, not the see through pink right? The solid light pink color? I've had that before so I know where to get it. I'll do the testing first too like you recommended.

Can I ask how bad your acne was to begin with? Did you have any red marks or anything?

So which conditioner do you use. I couldnt find the regular conditioner. They were all different types.

I actually am looking forward to trying this out, but how do you use it?? Do you wash your face with it? Do you use water with it? Put it on after washing your face? Can anyone help?

I got a mini-size of the hello hydration (smells good!) and tried it just this weekend. so far I havent broken out and it does not make my face feel slimy or anything it sounRAB like it would. It actually rinses off really nice and my face feels just as if I washed with just water, which is what Im transitioning from right now. I supposed if I needed I might still feel like I needed a little moisturizer but that goes for the water only method too but I definately dont feel that I have to put it on right away.

I hope this isn't some placebo affect your feeling saphire, cause it sure ain't working for me:p

Hey, just an update for everyone. I've been doing this for 2 months now and my skin is great. During the 2 months I've had one medium pimple and 2 or 3 small ones that lasted a day. Everyone should give it a try. I have naturally oily skin and it hasn't made it any oiler, if anything it's less oily.

I have tried it for about 4 days and it made my skin more oily.. Thats just me.. I have very difficult skin.. but my skin is smoother... I wish it would have worked for meee :(

Spots are caused by bacteria in the skin, therefore to stop the production of spots the best method is by the use of antibiotics. There are some antibiotics very effective against spot causing bacteria and there are some antiobiotics which are not. Most effective antiobiotic i've come across is Oxytetracycline, available from any pharmacist.

I started this last night. I am not sure how long it takes to work. I know the turn over cycle for your skin is 2 weeks, so I assuming that long at least. Let cross our fingers! :bouncing:
