My Cricket Bill = 20% Tax on $50 Plan

I am in the Buffalo home network. My total bill for May has reached $60.05. I have the $50 plan with Mobile Web. Is anyone else's bill this crazy after all the fees and taxes? Oh, and by the way it goes up every month like clockwork!! Is this normal/expected??!?!?

April: $59.83
March: $59.66
February: $53.32
 
:^/ That sure looks bad for Buffalo. Here in Oregon the cell phone tax has not increased since I started my account last year. It's about three dollars and something.

Also, the tax would be the same whichever carrier one used.
 
That looks a little high to me. I bet there is something else on there like a late fee or something. I always have ppl telling me their bill shouldnt be so high, and then I pull up the account and see that the have paid it late everymonth.

And remeraber if you pay it in the store, that is automatically $3 extra
 
Never been late on a payment, and I always pay online.

What is the question? That bill pretty much tells the story. Taxes are why you pay so much. Depending on what area you are in, you may or may not have more taxes to pay.

Oregons taxes come out to be about $3 so that bill would look high to me, but if I was in NY I would probably expect that.
 
It is changing because of how many days are in the month or billing cycle for instance february was missing a few days cause it ended on the 28th

and the New york has the highest state cell phone tax in the country, 21.71%, that is why your bill is almost $10 in taxes
