My computer stopped playing sound for Flash Videos on the Internet. But Itunes...

...still plays music. What's up? Sound is not working for Tunebite, Webcasts, Flash Videos, Pandora, or any other form of audio that plays on my browsers i.e. Explorer and Firefox. However music still plays when run from Itunes and the audio still works on Window's Media Player. Does anyone have any ideas on why the sound stop working for the other application and how can I fix it?
