my computer screen keeps flashing ever since i downloaded garrys mod help please?

im not sure about my graphics card but i have always been able to run portal HL2 and TF2 for some reason my computer flashes on the bottom right of monitor it says full hd 1080p PLEASE HELP wat could it be im really worried im not sure wat a lua virus is but could it be that im not sure help ASAP it only flashes after i play the game and the bottom of the screen
 
If you play online alot you probably joined a bad server that downloaded a LUA file that had a virus atatched to it I dont think its your monitor and when you run your games what graphics setting do you usually play on?
