Hey,
I have a Toshiba Portege and I've recently come across a problem that I find a little hard to sum up. Basically my Firefox will periodically and randomly no longer open and usually when that happens I open my task manager and end the existing Firefox process. That used to work, until it stopped responding to my "end process" commands. So my next step is to restart, but lo and behold, the restart/shut down buttons are not working either. Usually other programs are functional, so I don't know what happens when my computer does this. I have to do a manual restart, and then my Vista "please wait" screen takes 2-3 minutes before I can sign in. However I found an answer to the latter issue, which needs testing with a restart.
If anyone could help me figure out what's wrong with my laptop, I'd greatly appreciate it!
