My computer does not recognize the flash drive I have been using lately.?

It happened that it simply fell on the floor, while i was taking it out of my key chain. So now when I plug it it shows it is empty, and when i try to save a document in it, it states: the computer does not recognize the removable disc. What can i do to repair it?

Well, it could either be a problem with the computer or the flash drive, but the way you put it, I think it's the flash drive. Try doing stuff with it on a different computer and see if you get different results. If it is a problem with the computer, I think you have to take the flash drive out, restart the computer, and as the computer is booting up again, put in the flash drive and I think your computer will then read the driver and recognize it. If it is a problem with the flash drive, I don't really know what I can tell you. Sorry.
