When I insert my flash drive into the usb slot my computer will detect it, do some sort of searching and ask me what I would like to do (play media, open folders to view files, etc.) then it will un-detect[sic] the flash drive. It does this repeatedly and in fairly quick succesion, detecting and un-detecting.
When I try to open it during when it detects, it gives me an error message "F:\ refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the Internet or your network, and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location."
I thought that perhaps the usb port was damaged, so I tried others, but I get the same outcome. And the flash drive works because it does so on my friends computer.
-I am using Windows XP sp3
-The Flash drive is an 8gb "Yuuwaa plus" made by "gemalto"
I'm fairly certain that my usb drives are up to date, I've checked the internet but couldn't find anything newer.
I don't have another flash drive to compare it to.
