Hi we have recently had Sky, and their poor broadband package installed.
we have two lap tops that look identical. One is HP with Win 7 on it, and the other is a year older, but Compaq with Vista on it.
The Win 7 laptop connects via wireless fine.
The Vista Compaq laptop however does not. When I connect via ethernet cable the internet works fine though. The laptop also connects via wireless to other networks, at other locations with no problem. When it asks for the code to be inputted, it times out.
With the above it appears that the Sky (sagem) router works fine (with the Win 7), and the Compaq laptop also works fine with other routers, but they don't work together. Please help
