my colors are gone on paint.net please help :(?

ok i was drawing something on paint.net when the colors disappeared and when i go to windows and click colors there still gone ive tryed undownloading and redownloading it but its still the same how can i get my colors back? allso sorry if this is in the wrong catagory idk ware to put it
